Get started with your new machine purchase! In this class you will learn the ins and outs of your machine. This is a free class to customers that purchased their machine from our shop.

In this class you will learn the ins and outs of your sewing machine including:

  • Winding a bobbin
  • Threading the machine
  • Cleaning and changing a needle
  • Understanding the interface (buttons / screen)
  • Functions of the accessories
  • And more!

This is a free class to customers that purchased their machine from the Sewing Machine Shop. You must be the original recipient of the machine. Machines gifted or purchased in a private sale that were originally purchased from the SMS do not qualify for a free class.

A $75 class fee applies to outside purchased machines, and we cannot offer this class to any and all models – please call for info if you did not purchase your machine at the Sewing Machine Shop and would like to learn how to use it.

Supplies to bring for class:

  • Machine, power cord, foot control
  • Accessories that came with your sewing machine
  • Empty bobbin
  • Spool cap
  • A spool of thread
  • Instruction manual

This class is appropriate for most top-load bobbin sewing machines sold in our shop
