Yarn Couching with Embroidery

This class is for these machines:
- Baby Lock: Solaris, Meridian 2, Altair 2, (or Meridian or Altair upgraded to 2)
- Brother: Luminaire, Stellaire 2 (or Stellaire upgraded to 2)
- Janome: Continental M17
Don’t have one of these models? You can rent a machine for this class: the brother XJ2, Babylock Solaris, or M17 for just $30! If you love it and take it home, the rental fee will be refunded to you. Simply make a note “Machine Rental” in the additional information box, you will pay the rental fee in-shop.
Supplies Needed:
– Your machine in working order
– A Topstitch 80/12 needle (in machine)
– Embroidery bobbin (in machine)
– Couching foot (Baby Lock and Brother: “Y” / Janome: “PC-2″)
– Yarn guide attachment
– Muti spool stand for Baby Lock and Brother machines (if you have it)
– Yarn threading tool
– Embroidery thread in a light color, pink, light purple. If you bring your own yarn, thread to match.
– Embroidery Hoop: (Baby Lock and Brother: 9″ x 9″ or 9” x 14″/ Janome “SQ38D” or “ASQ27D” with clamps)
The Supplies below will be provided to you: (but if you want to bring your own you can!)
– Chenille Yarn
– Fabric (cut square 20″ with a matching back to make a pillow)
– Medium Weight Tear Away Stabilizer
