When: First Friday of the Month. 10am – 4pm.

 

How to Participate: Bring fabric to drop off, or take fabric you want. Or do both! Completely Free! No RSVP needed

 

Swap Meet Guidelines:

1.) Be sensible: don’t bring old bed sheets. This swap is for clean, usable, attractive fabrics that someone would be interested in taking and putting good use to; not a textile recycling program. Please do not bring zippers, buttons, scissors, etc.

Fabric, batting and interfacings only.

2.) Self Serve: This is an event that The Sewing Machine Shop hosts in their space for free, do not use up staff resources to ask a lot of questions about the free fabric.

3.) Be organized: When leaving fabric, have it neatly folded. When browsing, don’t make a mess. 

4.) Be a super star: If fabrics stick around for a long time and can’t find a new home, staff will set them aside to be donated. You can volunteer to take them to a donation center. The Sewing Machine Shop will give a $20 gift card to donation courier volunteers.
