In our opinion, the Janome Continental M6 is the best sewing machines in the world for under $4,000.  The highlight of this machine is the massive 13.5 inch throat space.  It is also compatible with one of the best walking foot systems on the market (Janome’s AcuFeed Flex Walking Foot), which makes the Continental M6 one of the best sewing machines for quilting, all while costing less than $4,000.

The feel of the M6 is incredible– heavy, old-world, and industrial-like due to the powder-coated metal frame and brushless servo motor, but at the same time it is also an extremely smooth sewing experience. Quilters in particular love it because of the throat space, but it is great for all times of sewing because it is heavy duty, reliable, and easy to use.

It is also cost-effective.  Before the Janome released the Continental M6, the least expensive sewing machine with this much throat space was the Continental M7 at $4,999.  That’s all to say, it’s a great deal on a great sewing machine.
