New Leaf Quilt: Fee: $80.00 Monday, August 11th, and Friday, August 22nd, 2008 10:30am - 4:30pm Two sessions Teacher: Loretta Jones In this class you will learn simple raw edge applique with Steam a Seam 2. You will also learn the technique of free motion thread work and Trapunto. This is a good class for all levels of quilters, It has a little something for everyone. Beginning Quilting Class: Fee: $72.00 , Thursday September 4th, Thursday October 2nd, 2008, the last session will be announced at first class. 10:00am - 1:00 pm Three sessions Teacher: Ellie Conley In this class learn the basics from using a rotary cutter, piecing and quilt assembly and binding. Batik Beauty Handbag: Fee: $50.00 Saturday, September 13th, 2008 10:30am - 4:30pm Teacher: Claudine Gammon Local handbag designer, Cluadine Gammon, will share with you her tips and techniques for making a simple, elegant handbag. When the class is over you will go home with your own completed handbag and the know-how to design your own bags in the future. In addition to the class fee, a $25 kit containing bamboo handles, fastener, feet and more will be required for completion of the handbag and will be sold at the time of the class. Stitch Editor 2: Fee: $30.00 Saturday, August 30th, 2008 2:00 - 5:00pm Teacher: Linda Christman Want to know how to edit existing designs and also how to capture certain parts of designs and save them as a new design? Come and join the fun in this series of Stitch Editor 1 and 2.
